Rawalpindi Board Grading System 2024 with Minimum Passing Marks: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Rawalpindi (BISERWP) Punjab has announced its grading system for SSC (9th class and 10th Class) and HSSC (11th class and 12th Class).

Recently the following grading formula with Percentile calculation had provided by the board. This new grading system will be used in Rawalpindi Board Result 2024. Therefore, students must know the score grades and minimum passing marks.

Percentile Score Grades
Description:
- 90‐100 means ‘A+’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 90.
- 87‐89 means ‘A’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 87 and less than 90
- 82‐86 means ‘B+’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 82 and less than 87
- 77‐81 means ‘B’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 77 and less than 82
- 70‐76 means ‘C+’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 70 and less than 77
- 60‐69 means ‘C’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 60 and less than 70
- 50‐59 means ‘D+’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 50 and less than 60
- 40‐49 means ‘D’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 40 and less than 50
- 33‐39 means ‘E’ grade is given to candidates who scored greater than or equal to 33 and less than 40
- 32 & Below means less than 33%
Percentile calculating formula:
- Percentile Score = Marks obtained by Candidate in a particular subject * 100 Maximum Marks obtained by a candidate in that subject
Minimum Passing Marks:
To pass a subject, a candidate must obtain at least 33% marks. To pass the Part-I examination, a candidate must pass in the subjects carrying total marks of 300.
To pass the failing subject/s (if any), it will be compulsory to appear in those paper/s in the immediate next Annual examination together with the papers of Part-II.
A candidate failing to pass subjects carrying total marks of 300, will appear in all the papers of Part-I with all the papers of Part-II. This will be considered one examination and the appearance in all the subjects will be subject to the appearance in the allotted examination center. No additional chance will be given for any reason including illness.
If a candidate passed in theory paper bu’ failed in practical. his marks in theory paper I & Il will be considered. In Case his overall marks in the subject come to 40 % his “F” grade in practice will be converted into “E” and he will be declared passed .0ther vase. he will be declared fail in paper Il and he will reappear in paper Il theory & practical in next available chances.
